Merry Dancer

Merry Dancer´s Fife Dragon Merry Dancer high & dry Merry Dancer sailing

Previous owners include Sir Henry Spurrier and Lord William Shawcross.
"This Fife design is one of the last built before World War II and represents the pedigree of the Fife dynatsy's production.
Over 70 years, she has always been well maintained by her previous owners and has never needed destructive thorough restoration.
Cabins are entirely orginal, as are her deck and structure. Only the mast and rig are a faithfull (Duncan Walker) repoduction of the original lost in 1993.
The deck, new in 2005, is traditionally laid, and all in all, Merry Dancer is one of the very few remarkably original (not recently entirely rebuilt..) Fife's in excellent condition.
