12.2004--- Pulled from the Essex mud where she's been for more than 50 years. Bought by Richard Matthews who is the owner of Oyster Marine and Southampton Yacht Services(SYS) and she is to be restored by Adrian Wombwell who also restored their other Fife, Pierrette. Kismet last sailed in 1949 during a regatta, which she won before she was laid up. Set to be launched in 2007. |
