Ilex won the Fastnet in 1926 when she had the Royal Engineers on board. Peter Moore, PA to Salvador Dali, owned her in the 1930's under a Bermudan rig. In 1994 she was restored at Vatasa Shipyards(Santa Pola, Alicante), back to the original gaff rig and is now based in Palma, Mallorca(2005).
