Froya II

The ocean racer was designed for Oyvind Lorentzen (Norway). Through his family ties to Brazil, but also to the Norwegian Royal family through his marriage
to the sister of King Harald, Froya was sailed to Brazil where she is presently located. Froya participated in various regatas such as the Bermuda Race, Buenos Aires-Rio and Santos-Rio. Froya had another 2 owners before being bought by the current owners in 2010. Froya is currently being restored at the Kalmar yard in Itajai/Brazil and will be ready for sailing in Q2 2011.
