Designed to a 35' waterline length Cerida was able to take advantage of the RORC rating rule of the time allowing them to race in both the 'large' and 'small' class. This enabled her to take part in the coastal races and also 'big boat' races such as the Fastnet. She was restored in 1972 and again more recently in 1999 at Cantiere Navale dell'Argentario, the interiors being made up beautifully of teak and mahogany. The old English yacht has become a regular at the classic regattas of the Mediterranean. |
