Black Swan

Imperia, 2004

Commissioned by Selwin Calverley and originally named 'Brynhyld' she was first rigged as a gaff yawl. At one stage she was renamed 'Changrilla' but eventually became 'Black Swan' and was rigged as a gaff ketch which she has kept to this day. The new rig was due to an extensive restoration project at the Beconcini Cantieri in La Spezia where it was designed by the Faggioni Yacht Design Studio and Harry Spencer was then commissioned to build it. Owned by an Italian she is a regular competitor at the classic regattas in the Mediterranean.
