Belmore


Belmore was one of the few yachts to conform to both the RORC and the American CCA rulebooks. She raced in the 1958 Bermuda Race.

11/2006 - being restored at Kemp's Quay on the Itchen River.

"Drawings etc. in Appendix to later editions of Ilingworth's book 'Offshore'/'Further Offshore'. A narrative of her participation in the 1960 Bermuda and Transatlantic Races was written by Erroll Bruce, her skipper: 'When the Crew Matter Most'. "
