Originally owned by Norman Clark Neill of London she was extensively rebuilt in 2000-2004.

'This involved significant structural work, including replacing substantially all sistered white oak frames and refastening or replacing numerous other single frames. Approximately 85% of all frames have been replaced. There is new galvanized steel floor timbers, new silicon bronze keel bolts, new sole bearers and extensive replacement of deck beams and carlings throughout. The stem, rudderpost, rudder and transom have all had repairs and the boat was recaulked throughout with new topside teak splines. All mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems have been replaced.'

Adventuress 'is currently owned by Jim Lynch of New York and is home ported in Newport, R.I.'

'2" Burmese teak planking over 4-1/4" sistered on single white oak frames, teak stringers and beam shelf. Bronze fastened. Composite construction with both wood and galvanized steel floor timbers. Teak deck structures and new mahogany interior with teak cabin sole.  There are new interior and deck structures built following the original Fife plans (except to add additional heads and satisfy USCG requirements). The interior hardware has been reproduced from original Fife patterns obtained from Fairlie Restorations. Sitka spruce spars.'
